Water Fitness Classes
Member Gloria Walker is offering Water Fitness classes in our pool on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 – 9:30 am beginning on June 23rd.
For 10 years, Gloria’s company, SweatWet, has offered classes to those who want to exercise gently and effectively. Although water aerobics delivers heavy-duty health and body benefits—burning calories, toning your muscles and strengthening your heart, to name just a few—you’ll feel light and stable in the water while putting very little stress on your joints. Statistics show that a person generally burns two more calories per minute in the water than on land.
Classes cost $10 for member, guests cost $12. Sign up directly with Gloria: 831-713-7386; email@example.com. Class size is limited due to physical distancing, so sign up right away to ensure your spot.
For those of you that prefer your exercise in the straight-forward, no frills way, we offer lap swimming on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7am – 10am.
How to take advantage of that: come to the pool, put your name on the list that you will find by the Snack Shack. First come, first served. There are 4 people allowed to swim at a time. Each person gets 30 minutes. Members only. No fees. No guests. No children. Please be courteous to your fellow Elks – get in and out on time.

- M/W/F Lap swimming from 7am-9am. Free swim from 11am-7pm.
- T/Th: Water Fitness from 8:30am – 9:30am. Free swim from 10am – 7pm.
- Sat/Sun: Free swim from10am – 7pm.
